Black owl creek chert
I found a point in Western Kansas. I almost think it may have been made of black owl creek chert.......from Texas. Is there any info on the so called owl chert out there?

Alibates and Georgetown flints make it that far. Since Black Owl Creek chert is just a variant of Georgetown, I'd say it's not a bad guess.knapperbob
